SHUTTLE INFORMATION
The main reason that Rob & Dianne head up to the launch area is to provide either a tandem or solo lesson. If you are a tandem student then the shuttle is included so this page does not pertain to you. But if you are a local or visiting pilot that has their own equipment wishing to get a ride to launch with us, then this page IS for you.
Since our students sometimes ask for last minute changes to the schedule we will not book pilot rides in advance but rather only on the same day you wish to fly. The phone (909) 883-8488 will be answered starting at 7:30 AM daily. You should first state that you are looking for a pilot ride up to fly and ask for departure times and availability.
You should also ask which launch site we are heading to if you are fussy about such plans. Sometimes we have a pre-arranged decision on the destination and sometimes we reserve the right to decide on the way up. The cost of the ride up is free but we do ask that you consider a $10 suggested donation. The time given for the departure is indeed the time of DEPARTURE. If you are having watch problems you can check the accuracy of your watch by setting it as we depart or setting it here at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). It is usually accurate to within a few dozen nanoseconds :)
